The FGA-202 is a professional and hard-wearing hum destroyer, designed to eliminate as much unwanted noise as possible that is caused by ground loops, and achieves this through galvanic isolation of input signal and output signal.Ground loops occur when two or more devices are connected to a common ground point, through different paths. An example could be when multiple units are in contact in a rack, or when connecting an already earthed connection to another earthed unit.

This particular model features a 1/4″ jack and XLR connection, and can be used with balanced or unbalanced signals. This makes it suitable for balancing signal outputs which makes the signal transmission less sensitive to interference. The unit itself is built to last. The solid metal housing ensures a long life against knocks bumps and drops, which are inevitable in live situations, and the small footprint and light weight makes it easy to carry around.
