Midas Pro X : 

The Midas PRO Series family moves up a gear with the PRO X control centre and the industry-changing NEUTRON Audio System Engine. Featuring 168 simultaneous input channels and 99 time-aligned and phase-coherent mix buses, the PRO X sets a new performance benchmark in high-profile live sound applications and is a truly impressive digital control surface for the engineer whose very livelihood depends on both unparalleled functionality and reliability. Like all PRO Series consoles, the PRO X features managed latency and 40 bit floating point processing precision.

HyperMAC and AES50 audio networking technologies allow the PRO X to dynamically assign up to 288 inputs and 294 outputs at 96 kHz sampling rate to any of its input channels and bus outputs on a scene-by-scene basis. This high level of connectivity, coupled with the large channel and bus counts, makes the PRO X equally at home in theatres and symphony halls as it is in live concert touring, outside broadcast and music festivals.

DL452 :

DL452 is a modular 8 channel digital AES3 (AES/EBU) input and output card for MIDAS PRO Series control centres and modular I/O boxes. DL452 features sample rate conversion for both inputs and outputs and can interface to equipment operating at 48 kHz and 96 kHz. Additionally, DL452 features external clock synchronisation for input channels and word length and clock source options (internal 96 kHz, 48 kHz or external sync) for output channels. DL452 features an automatic output mute facility if the audio signal path is muted via the PRO Series control centre.

DL444 : 

DL444 is a modular 8 channel analogue mic/line input and line level output card for MIDAS PRO Series control centres and modular I/O boxes, and features award-winning MIDAS microphone preamplifiers with switchable +48 V phantom power and servo-balanced electronic outputs with high current drive capability for long cable runs. Premium low latency 24 bit 96 kHz ADC and DAC converters are used to minimise distortion and noise artefacts, and DL444 features balanced inputs and outputs on 25 way D-type connectors, ideal for fixed installations where the input and output channel counts can be maximised. It also features an automatic output mute facility if the audio signal path is muted via the PRO Series control centre.

The powerhouse at the centre of the PRO X system, the new NEUTRON High Performance Audio System Engine is the result of a three year research and development program that pushed the Midas engineering team well beyond their already considerable expertise and knowledge.
NEUTRON’s cutting-edge, latest generation DSPs and high-performance FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) technology, coupled with a highly efficient MIMD (Multiple Instruction, Multiple Data) architecture, delivers more than 100 Gigaflops of real-time audio processing. With the capability to handle up to 168 simultaneous input channels and 99 time-aligned and phase-coherent output mix buses, NEUTRON represents the state-of-the-art in digital audio mixing technology.
